Scammers impersonate giveaway brands to target winners. Shift Culture and our official sweepstakes administrator will never ask you to pay money to claim a prize, and we will never reach out through random DMs. If someone does, it is a scam.
How real winners are notified: We call you first, at the phone number tied to your entry, and we will not ask you for money, passwords, or payment on that call. After that, our independent sweepstakes administrator (our legal agency) emails you to verify your identity and eligibility and arrange the prize. That is the only process. Anyone who DMs you, asks you to pay to claim a prize, or requests gift cards, crypto, or your banking passwords is a scammer. Block and report them.
